A group of Legionnaires and Green Lantern Rond Vidar rescue the White Witch from Mordru just as Superboy-Prime arrives with the entire Legion of Super-Villains to enlist Mordru?s aid. After sending the Legionnaires home, Rond makes a last stand, his ring leaving his lifeless body for Oa. Brainiac 5 splits the Legion into teams: the first faces Superboy-Prime and his allies; the second goes to JLA headquarters to find a mystical artifact; another team heads to the Time Institute to commandeer a space bubble; and a fourth team takes Rond's body to Oa where they are greeted by Sodam Yat.
